The Rivers State Government has reiterated its commitment to supporting strategic partnerships that drive economic growth, following a high-level meeting with the leadership of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG).
Governor Siminalayi Fubara received the delegation, led by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Adeleye Falade, at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Speaking during the meeting, Governor Fubara described NLNG as a shining example of how effective Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) can enhance efficiency, boost productivity, and promote sustainable development when supported by the right expertise and enabling environment.
“The NLNG remains a strong example of how a proactive Public-Private Partnership can drive efficiency, productivity and sustainable development when the right expertise is allowed to thrive,” the governor said.
He further emphasized the state’s readiness to continue fostering collaboration with reputable organizations, noting their critical role in advancing economic growth and community development.
“The Government and people of Rivers State will continue to support organisations like NLNG that are contributing meaningfully to economic growth and community development. Their success is our success, and together, we will keep building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” Fubara added.
The meeting highlights ongoing efforts by the Rivers State Government to strengthen partnerships with key industry players in a bid to build a more resilient and prosperous economy.
