The City Boy Movement has paid a courtesy visit to Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, as part of preparations for the unveiling of its state secretariat and the inauguration of its executive committee members.
The delegation was led by the Movement’s National Director, Francis Shoga Oluwatosin, and included the Bayelsa State Director, His Highness Osomkime Edwin Blankson, alongside other coordinators of the group.
The visit also comes ahead of the anticipated arrival of the Movement’s National Patron, Seyi Tinubu, who is expected to headline the inauguration events.
During the meeting, the group reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and promoting structured political participation across the state.
Governor Diri, in his remarks, welcomed the delegation and commended their efforts toward building an organized and inclusive political platform, noting the importance of youth-driven initiatives in strengthening democratic processes.
