Apostle Gift Chinyere Announces Marriage Arrangement For Adopted Daughter With Special Needs

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Gift Chinyere, has announced plans to give one of his adopted daughters, Miss Chiemeka Chibuzor, out in marriage as part of efforts to secure her long-term welfare and happiness.

According to the cleric, the 21-year-old woman, who is living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, is capable of speaking and hearing, and is considered ready for marriage under carefully guided conditions.

Apostle Chinyere outlined specific requirements for any prospective suitor. He stated that the intending groom must be a young man who is physically and mentally fit, emphasizing the need for responsibility, stability, and genuine commitment to her well-being.

To support the union, the OPM founder disclosed a comprehensive welfare package designed to ensure the couple’s long-term stability. The benefits include lifetime financial support, provision of a free house for life, and the construction of a home registered in the names of both partners.

In addition, the church will conduct periodic, unannounced supervisory visits through its staff to monitor the lady’s safety, welfare, and overall well-being within the marriage.

Apostle Chinyere explained that the initiative is part of OPM’s broader humanitarian mission, aimed at protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring they lead fulfilling and dignified lives.

He added that further benefits may also be made available to the couple as part of the arrangement.

The announcement has since drawn public attention, with many Nigerians commending the gesture while others call for careful consideration of ethical and personal consent factors in such arrangements.
