The Project Coordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP), Nenibarini Zabbey, was among dignitaries who paid their last respects at the funeral of the late Sir Albert Legbara Giadom, elder brother of Victor Tombari Giadom.
The solemn funeral service held at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church Bera Gokana drew political leaders, traditional rulers, stakeholders, and community members who gathered to honour the memory of the deceased and stand in solidarity with the Giadom family.
Speaking at the event, Professor Zabbey described the late Sir Albert Legbara Giadom as a respected figure whose life reflected service, dignity, and commitment to community values. He extended heartfelt condolences to Chief Hon. Victor Tombari Giadom and the entire family, praying for strength and comfort in their time of grief.
In a separate engagement the same weekend, Professor Zabbey also graced the wedding ceremony of Mr. Idabarabonye Hart and his bride in Bonny Island.
The colourful ceremony attracted family members, friends, and associates who gathered to witness the couple exchange marital vows. The groom is the son of Professor Aduabobo Ibitoru Hart, a renowned subject matter expert on the Ogoni Cleanup Programme.
Professor Zabbey congratulated the newlyweds, urging them to build their union on love, mutual respect, and shared purpose. He commended the Hart family for their longstanding contributions to environmental sustainability and knowledge development, particularly within the framework of the Ogoni Cleanup initiative.
