Governor Francis Nwifuru has congratulated members of Regular Course 7 from Ebonyi State who recently passed out as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the Nigerian Police Academy, describing their achievement as a milestone that has brought honour and pride to the state.

The newly commissioned officers paid a courtesy visit to the governor at his office and were led by the Commissioner of Police, Anthonia Adaku Uche-Anya of the Nigeria Police Force.

Receiving the officers, Governor Nwifuru applauded their consistency, discipline, and resilience throughout their rigorous academic and paramilitary training. He noted that their successful graduation and commissioning as ASPs was not only a personal accomplishment but also a reflection of Ebonyi State’s growing reputation for excellence and merit.

The governor emphasized that the officers have proven themselves to be worthy ambassadors of the state, projecting a positive image and demonstrating the values of hard work and integrity that Ebonyi people are known for.

He expressed optimism that sustained performance of this standard would ensure the state continues to enjoy strong and remarkable representation within the Nigeria Police Force in the years ahead.

Charging the officers on their new responsibilities, Governor Nwifuru urged them to remain focused, patient, and professional in the discharge of their duties. He encouraged them to embrace innovation, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and contribute meaningfully to strengthening policing and public safety across the nation.
