Omoku, Rivers State — The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, today, visited Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) as part of his ongoing Thank You Tour across Local Government Areas in Rivers State.
Addressing party leaders, traditional rulers, women and youth groups at a well-attended reception, Wike expressed profound gratitude to the people of ONELGA for their steadfast support over the years, describing the area as a critical pillar of the political strength and unity of the state.
The former Rivers State Governor said the tour was his way of appreciating the grassroots for their loyalty, sacrifices and confidence in leadership that prioritizes development, peace and inclusive governance. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing projects and policies that improve the lives of the people, noting that effective leadership is rooted in continuous engagement with the electorate.
Wike commended the resilience of the people of ONELGA and urged them to sustain unity and cooperation in the interest of progress. He also called on party stakeholders to remain focused, disciplined and committed to the ideals that foster development at the community level.
