The First Lady of Rivers State, Her Excellency Lady Valerie Fubara, brought joy and inspiration to Government House as she took part in the Rivers State Government Humanitarian Outreach, held in commemoration of the 2026 Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day. The event, which honored the bravery and sacrifices of the nation’s military personnel, featured veterans, the wives of fallen heroes, and other dignitaries.
In a heartwarming moment, Lady Fubara showcased her dancing skills alongside the veterans and the spouses of fallen soldiers, demonstrating solidarity and celebrating the resilience of those who have served the nation.
Beyond the celebrations, Lady Fubara, who also serves as Founder of the Valerie Simple Life Initiative and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, donated wheelchairs to two disabled veterans, providing much-needed support and highlighting her ongoing commitment to the welfare of military personnel and their families.
The outreach event served as both a tribute to the Armed Forces and a platform to reinforce the Rivers State Government’s dedication to humanitarian support, ensuring that heroes and their families are recognized, appreciated, and assisted.
