In a grand cultural ceremony held today in Abonnema, Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State, the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Major M. Jack, FNSE, DSSRS, was formally installed into a traditional chieftaincy title, drawing dignitaries, community leaders, political figures, and well-wishers from across the region.
The colourful event, which took place under the auspices of the Kalabari-Ijaw cultural heritage, saw Hon. Major Jack, a native of Abonnema and representative of Akuku-Toru I Constituency, crowned amid traditional rites, cultural music, and jubilant applause from his supporters. Hon. Hon.
