Attack Victim Laments Plight, Homelessness
Mr Ezaka, who recently spoke with newsmen while lamenting his plight said the attack rendered him homeless and helpless, as his family house was completely burnt down while three members of his family were feared dead and several other villagers critically injured.
According to him, the incident took place in broad daylight as the Fulani herdsmen who allegedly invaded the community were armed with dangerous weapons.
He noted that several years after the incident, his family members were yet to recover from the colossal damage inflicted on them as they are still helpless and homeless.
Mr Ezaka said he was drawing the attention of the government at the various levels to his plight and the plight of members of his family and the villagers.
Collaborating the story, the Second in Command of the State Intelligence Bureau(SIB), Ebonyi State Command, CSP Chike Stephen Nwoke said in a statement that Mr Ezaka was actually a victim of Fulani herdsmen's attack, adding that he is still helpless and homeless as a result of the incident.
According to him, the victim was subsequently advised to stay away from his community as his life was in danger.
